Hello!
I’ve got a busy week on deck. I’m traveling to Canada for the first time to speak at a conference on Thursday. I’m not sure I’ll get to write a full newsletter this week, but I have some exciting interviews coming up!
In the meantime, help me plan future editions of Publishing Confidential by commenting what you’d like to know about social media marketing & author branding.
Thanks!
Kathleen
I always find myself asking, "But what *actually* works?" when it comes to social media promotion/publicity. There's a lot of competing info out there and obviously we'd all be millionaires if it could be easily distilled, but what kinds of social media promotion, paid or unpaid, actually seems to lead to sales? Is there anyone you can point to as a successful case study?
Is it worth being part of any social media if we're not consistently posting/100% into it due to real life commitments? E.g. I like to share occasionally IG but post less than once a month, stories I do a few times a week typically. Better to show up than not to participate at all?
