It's conceivable I could make it to Manhattan since I travel there 4-5 times a year. But am in Massachusetts most of the time. (Might some of us entice you to hold an event on Martha's Vineyard??)
In love with the PC (Publishing Confidential, not politically correct world, but too far down the East Coast to travel and too brain-damaged (by surgery) to drive if I could arrange to go! Unlike my West Coast friends, I do have Zoom capacity and am all for virtual if it works.
Hudson Valley would be perfect for me as well, maybe Kingston or Hudson? And weekends only, please!!
I live near Albany/Troy, so Brooklyn is a 3+ hour drive. But I do have friends in Queens to stay with, so if you gave enough notice, I may be able to make it.
I would love to go to events in-person or online, especially with industry professionals.
I love your publication and your valuable insight into the publishing world. I'm another zoomed-out West Coaster, though. If an in-person event ever presented itself on the central coast of California, I'd consider!
If I were in NY, I'd be be interested. Unfortunately I am on the other side of the country. I'm kind of maxed out on social events via zoom! They never really feel… Social? Cool idea for NY people though.
I'm a NY transplant in LA, and love the idea of attending Publishing Confidential events, but agree here that I am also Zoomed out. I'd love to meet more of the PC community. Not sure how do-able that is or if an LA or multiple city chapters is possible--that's scaling things up quite a bit!. That said, I do appreciate this community and wish we could talk shop more in person. There's so much wonderful content and community here. Thank you!
I’m in Brooklyn! I’d come to a live event....
I'd love to join a Brooklyn mixer!

I'd be happy to travel to BK for a mixer.
I am definitely interested with enough of a heads up. My son lives in Brooklyn so I’m always happy to travel l there!
Lots of good information in your posts but I live in Australia, so I couldn’t attend an event even if I wanted to.
I wish! I’m in New England so I couldn’t make it but it sounds like a fantastic idea.
NE is not a bad idea. I love it up there.
Fun fall activities plus PC people meeting? Sounds like a dream . Just sayin… 😉😉
Yes, but for this Jerseyan, Manhattan would be way easier to get to than Brooklyn.
I'd be interested in attending a mixer or suchlike in Brooklyn (or elsewhere in NYC).

Brooklyn is a bit too far, but Manhattan or the Hudson Valley (say, Beacon?) would be great. Weekends are easier than weeknights.

Hope you if do decide to develop events at some point you could do one on the West Coast. Waving hello from Sacramento 🙋♀️

I live a bit outside the city but would be happy to come to in-person events when I can and a Brooklyn mixer sounds fun :)
